Additive technologies

Additive manufacturing is a part manufacturing process that is based on creating a physical object from an electronic geometric model by adding material layer by layer. The key advantages of using these technologies are the ability to produce geometrically complex parts that are sometimes impossible to produce using classical production methods, as well as a significant economic effect by reducing time and money spent on production preparation and increasing the efficiency of material use. The use of additive technologies makes it possible to reduce the production preparation time by 5 times. At UEC, additive technologies are used for the production of such experimental engines as VK-650V, VK-1600V, PD-8, PD-35, TV7-117, as well as for the production of the "swirler" part of the serial PD-14 engine.
